In 2011 (Junior): Whitney started 46 of the 48 games in which she played for the Golden Eagles in 2011...led the team in home runs with 7...scored 12 runs on 25 hits and drew 18 walks...drove in 23 runs, including three or more on four occasions...went 3-5 with 4 RBIs and 2 runs and a home run against Murray State (3/26)...appeared in 23 games as a pitcher, winning 5 with an ERA of 4.93...pitched two 3-hit complete game shutouts (2/26 vs. Northwestern State and 4/2 vs. Eastern Illinois)...struck out 48 batters and led the OVC in games finished (16)...named to the OVC Commissioner's and TTU Athletic Director's Honor Rolls. 

In 2010 (Sophomore): Whitney appeared in 58 games for Tech in 2010, making 57 starts between first base and the designated hitter....became the slugging percentage leader of the team as she hit twelve home runs and drove in 32...maintained a perfect fielding percentage during conference play by converting all 59 defensive opportunities...had eleven multiple hit games which ranked third on the women's squad...named Tech's Best Offensive Player in 2010...ranked second in the OVC in home runs and fourth in both doubles and total bases.

In 2009 (Freshman): Whitney started all 57 games for the Golden Eagles, leading the team with seven home runs, 14 doubles, and 32 RBIs on 46 hits while being named to the OVC All-Newcomer Team...also led the team in slugging percentage (.472) while batting .261 on the year...had a 14-game hitting streak throughout the course of the season, the second longest of any player in the OVC...finished the year with 11 multi-RBI games, the fourth most in the conference...drove in a season-high four RBIs while going 2-for-4 at the plate against Southeast Missouri (3/29)...was 3-for-4 with a double, one run scored and an RBI against Austin Peay (3/22)...had the team’s lone triple on the season against UT Martin (4/25)...also appeared in six games in the circle, compiling a 3.07 ERA with five strike outs in 13.2 innings of work.

High School:
Whitney lettered all four years at Tuttle High School in Oklahoma for coach Jerry Bates...also played on the hardwood, lettering all four years in basketball for coach Jason Pennington. She was an all-district, all-region and all-state selection on the diamond her senior year...had other numerous softball awards and honors throughout her high school career...was a member of the Oklahoma and National Honor Society.
